Warranty
Choppa Block warranty is an intended use warranty.
Due to our warranty claims being so few, we have no specified timeframe to claim. Each claim is reviewed individually.
A claim would not be honoured if the board (timber) was subject to excess moisture or heat, causing the timber to swell or shrink, then triggering excess tension within the board, therefore causing a delamination of the glue joint, which is outside intended use of the product.
If the board were to fail within the intended use guidelines (such as being used as intended – slicing and dicing, removal of excessive moisture soon as practical, not using the board to cool dishes directly from the oven, etc) and oiling/board maintenance of the board when required was carried out (in accordance with Choppa Block care instructions), then the claim will be honoured.
As market leaders, every aspect of our manufacturing process is thorough – from timber selection, machining, lamination, to our finishing method. We have found over the years if a board were to fail it will generally do so in our care whilst in the manufacturing and oiling process.
One last thing about our warranty…
Our goal is to manufacture the highest quality Australian hardwood end grain board. We are proud of our product and stand by it. We have no set time frame to claim providing the product is maintained correctly.

Please send the item back in its original packaging (as much as is possible). It is your responsibility to ensure it is packaged securely.
Please note that Choppa Block is not responsible for items lost in transit to us. Hence we recommend that you return item(s) by trackable courier or registered mail.
Damage Due to Misuse or Neglect
We do not accept returns for customer misuse and abuse of our products.
For all board purchases, please read the Care Kit instructions found with each board which is also displayed at http://choppablock.com.au/board-care.html.
We do not accept returns due to misuse. Remember, end grain boards have limitations. Never fully submerse your board in water. The best way to clean it is with a damp kitchen cloth or sponge. You can also use kitchen sanitiser and surface wipes. Don’t put your board under a running tap or apply excessive moisture – if this happens dry it with a cloth immediately to minimise the saturation of the wood.
