Got my board just before Christmas, was very very impressed, Peter mentioned he wasn’t happy with it before he sent it, and would replace it in the new year. That’s exactly what happened, he must be a perfectionist, as I couldn’t see anything wrong. It’s a piece of art in the kitchen, and I can only highly recommend Peter and choppablock to anyone who wants a serious piece board in the kitchen. Great service.

Got the board yesterday and unpacked it last night. First impressions are it’s a really beautiful and flawless board, much higher finish quality than I was expecting. The colour and texture of the Tassie Blackwood looks fantastic. It’s a bit more imposing than I was expecting (maybe that’s the thickness that I wasn’t accounting for when I measured it up), despite that, it’s actually a bit lighter than I was expecting, which is another nice surprise. I’m both excited and nervous about starting to use it. It’s a thing of beauty, but it also looks like no other chopping board I’ve seen around so I’m keen to start using it in earnest as it looks like the sort of board that’s going to stand up to years of domestic cooking action. You’ve redefined what a chopping board is for me. Thank you for your time and effort, there’s clearly a pride that you take in your work, and that effort is really evident.

The board is fantastic, love it, nothing that I’d change at all. It adds a perfect amount of height so that I’m not bending over the bench while doing prep work anymore which has helped alleviate some of the increase in pain I get from cooking after a serious spinal injury, so I honestly couldn’t be happier, it’s perfect.
